The Brewer’s Edge® Mash & Boil makes All Grain Brewing easy and affordable. Brew Day is a simple joy and clean up is also simplified compared to more elaborate wort production systems.

No need for an outdoor burner, complicated brewing stand, or a 220 volt special circuit - it plugs into any 110 volt GFI household outlet.

A couple popular features of this model are the recirculation pump, and delayed start timer.

Recirculation Pump - Improves temperature control, wort clarity, sugar extraction efficiency, and can speed the chilling process---big advantages on Brew Day!

Delayed Start Timer - With this digital feature you can program the Mash and Boil to turn on up to 24 hours after setting. For example, load it with strike water, and have it set to be hot when you come home from work to save time.

The Mash and Boil’s exclusive double wall stainless construction conserves heat to achieve a rolling boil with only 110 volts and 1600 watts, and its precise thermostat and internal sparging basket lets you mash and boil in the same vessel. The Mash & Boil features an adjustable thermostat (switchable from Fahrenheit to Centigrade) with an adjustable run time preset at 3½ hours for safety.

With this brewery, The Beverage People recommends wort chilling with one of our in-house made 3/8" copper immersion wort chillers---we size them specifically for this system.  This type of chiller has proven to be the most effective, economical and easy to use and clean.

Distilling with the Mash & Boil - By adding the Mash and Boil Distilling Lid and T500 Reflux Column Condenser, the Mash and Boil can be used for distilling.  This system allows you to collect an astonishing 95% of the possible alcohol from the wash. This comes out at an amazing 93% alcohol purity. WARNING TO HOME HOBBYISTS: Distillation of alcohol for human consumption in our state of California requires a license. Please be sure you have obtained a proper license before proceeding with any distillation activities that may violate state or federal laws in your area.

    Simple Brewing 12/28/2017
    By VB
All grain brewing couldn't be any simpler.
I've been partial grain brewing for a year and a half and have wanted to jump over to all grain. The investment and space needed where the hold back. You could brew in a phone booth with this unit and the price point is right.
Being able to set and maintain temp. is not a problem with this unit.
The one issue I had was draining the wort. I used whole hops without a hops bag and plugged up the ball valve. A hops bag will solve this problem.
