Used for Rhone Varietals, Merlot, Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Barbera, Cabernet Franc. This yeast is alcohol tolerant up to 16-17% and is highly recommended for high Brix reds. It is characterized by aromas of black cherry, berry and cherry cola in red wines. It can be used to restart a stuck or sluggish fermentation.
