This rennet, called Marzyme, is derived from the pure culture fermentation of the organism Mucor Miehei. Store at temperatures below 41F and away from direct sunlight. Use 1/4 tsp. in 1/4 cup cool water for 1 or 2 gallons of milk. Cost-effective non-GMO microbial coagulants ensure consistent milk clotting for high quality cheese production. Non-animal, non-GMO origin - suitable for vegetarians.
