8 piece Barrel Tethers are sized so they fit in through the bung hole and treat 59 gallons of wine. The tethers come pre-linked with nylon zip ties for ease of insertion and removal from the barrel.

Stave Dimensions

17" X 1". Each of the 8 barrel staves in the tether are longer than a standard oak carboy stick.

How to Use

Insertion/Removal

The tethers are linked with nylon zip ties. For ease of removal from the barrel, we recommend that you screw a stainless eyelet into the bottom of your barrel bung and hang the tethers from the eyelet. Alternatively, you may attach fishing line to the tethers and attach the fishing line somewhere outside of the barrel bung for later removal of the tethers.

Contact Time

Please allow 3 months minimum extraction time to balance the extractions of short and long grain. Removing the wood early only allows certain extractions of flavors and primarily from the short grain in the Wine Stix® milling. The end result is in likeness to a second use Barrel.

How to Return Goods for Refund
