Beer Style: This American Porter, AKA Robust Porter, is bursting with nutty, dark toast, cocoa and coffee flavors. It is a more flavorful and aggressive take on the classic English roasty ale.

Dominant Ingredients and Characteristics: Layers of roast character come from two types of chocolate malt and Black Patent. Classic Golding hops provide hints of earth and flowers.

Grav South's owner and brewer, Greg Rasmussen, has been a customer and friend of The Beverage People since his early home brewing days. We were thrilled to work with Greg to bring you one of our favorite Grav South beers in the form of one of our easy to brew kits!

How to Use

Equipment Needed:

Wort production system for 5 gallons of wort.
A stirring paddle or spoon.
Primary fermentor of at least 7 gallon capacity and a lid.
A 5 gallon bottle (secondary fermentor).
Fermentation lock and stopper(s) for fermentors.
Siphon assembly for transfers.
Beer bottles and caps for 5 gallons, or kegs for 5 gallons.
Bottle/keg brush, cleaner, and sanitizer.
Optional but recommended: Wort chiller
Optional but recommended: Hydrometer & test jar

How to Return Goods for Refund

All our supplies are guaranteed for one year. Request for refunds occurring more than 30 days after the date of purchase on non-defective goods may be granted as a store credit if the goods are returned in their original condition. Yeast is perishable and should be refrigerated on arrival. No refunds are allowed on sales of living organisms such as yeast and bacteria.
