This Pot Head Kit (AKA alembic) is designed to distill spirits such as Whisky, Brandy, Tequila and Rum.

If you wish to distill more highly purified spirits such as vodka and gin, you can add a dephlegmator and/or sight glass column onto this kit to expand into a reflux column style still.  

Included in this kit:

• Lyne Arm with:
  • Perforated stainless steel bottom disc
  • 3 feet of copper mesh included
  • 3 Inch, high quality analog thermometer
  • 2" Tri Clamp ferrules at top and bottom, and 1.5" Tri Clamp ferrule on side for connection of the condenser
  • 1.5" Tri Clamp 
• Stainless High-Efficiency Condenser with:
  • Column is 31” x 1.5” diameter
  • 1.5” Tri Clamp connection to column
  • 1/2” inner tube of .049 thickness. A total of 5 welded heat sinks assist in faster, more efficient condensing while using less water
  • 2 water ports (water in, water out) with male MPT 1/2" threads
  • Excellent for recirculation system

NOT Included in this kit:

• Sanke keg as the boiler
• Fittings to adapt your cooling water.  There are many options.  You may connect your water supply directly, or set up a submersible pump to recirculate ice water.  Fittings may be FPT to hose barb, or quick disconnect type.  
• Dephlegmator and Sight Glass to adapt this Pot Head Kit to operate as a Reflux Column Still.
• Cooking heat source such as a propane burner
