CESKAŽ-COAT Cheese Coating is simple to apply and sets up an instant, protective and breathable rind on your firm cheeses.

This soft coating has played a defining role in the rich history of Gouda cheese, but don't think of it an only a treatment for Gouda. It is extremely effective for all firm natural-ripened cheeses.

CESKA®-COAT Cheese Coating offers not only protection, but also control over the ripening process and taste. 

SpecificationsProduced in Holland by CSK, a producer of dairy products such as cultures, rennet, and coatings since 1905.
How to Use

To set up a protective rind on your firm cheese, paint the coating onto the cheese using a pastry brush and allow to dry into a rind. You may like to re-apply the coating every week or two to fight mold development during cheese aging. For example, we have found that the famous São Jorge cheese of the Azores is coated regularly throughout aging allowing it to develop its moderately soft and strongly flavored interior while the rind remains safe from contamination. Coat at least two times.

Materials/Ingredients
Yellow cream is casein-based. Contains mold inhibitors (Natamycin or Sorbate).

Request for refunds occurring more than 30 days after the date of purchase on non-defective goods may be granted as a store credit if the goods are returned in their original condition. Yeast is perishable and should be refrigerated on arrival. No refunds are allowed on sales of living organisms such as yeast and bacteria.
