Think you donít like American Lager? Think again. This yeast is a powerful attenuator that creates a dry lager with a slightly fruity finish and very little sulfide and diacetyl. Perfect for lager styles where you desire a dry, less malty finish. Good for use in styles such as Pale Lager, Black Lager, Pilsner, Schwarzbier, and Imperial Pilsner.

Temperature Range: 48 - 60įF
Attenuation: 79 - 83% (note that attentuation will be lower when gravity exceeds 1.095)
How to Use
GigaYeast provides a minimum yeast cell count of 200 billion, which is a proper pitching rate for nearly all five gallon batches. These packages contain twice the amount of yeast as Wyeast or White Labs, and that means better fermentations without the need for a starter.
